The Hotel
History/Team
On the 31st of July 1964, the master baker Philipp Weinand and his wife Getrud opened the Cafè-Restaurant Rheinpavillon. After the extension and upgrading in 1972 their son Lothar together with his wife Karin took over the estate in 1984.
Since 1994, after training at Lufthansa Service and employment at Steigenberger and Kempinski hotels the 3rd generation has joined in as well. Son Sascha is the chef.
True to a family business, daughter Sandra, sister-in-law Jutta and sister-in law to-be Jenny all regularly lend a helping hand.
Grandma Gertrud was fully involved into the daily routines up bis her 82nd (!) birthday. Even now she still is ready to offer help and advice.
Rhine Terrace
Our terrace with its pergola, which makes for much-nedded shade, gives an answer to the question:
"Why is it beautuful along the Rine?"
- especially when you enjoy the terrace with a glass of wine or some good food.
Parking
A large hotel-owned parking lot right at the hotel is available to our guests at all times.
